Richard Riggs joined BASF Venture Capital as an Investment Manager in March 2012. Upon joining BASF SE in 2006 he worked in central research, leading scientific projects in the areas of Crop Protection and Performance Chemicals. Prior to this he worked at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Grenzach in the now Care Chemicals division. He obtained he Master of Chemistry and Doctorate degrees at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
