DataLase Ltd., Widnes, UK, has a product portfolio of patented additives which, through the application of laser light, undergo an irreversible reaction and permanently change their color.

DataLase uses this technology in laser marking systems for use in a wide range of applications. The main fields of application are in primary (products) and secondary (container) packaging.
