Plastic Logic is in a position to create cost-effective large-surface and high-resolution transistor arrays on thin and flexible plastic substrates in large numbers. The technique makes it possible to manufacture using a low temperature process without mask alignment and enables the development of radical new production concepts, for example for flexible displays.

Plastic Logic was founded in 2000 by Stuart M. Evans, Professor Sir Richard Friend and Professor Henning Sirringhaus.

BASF Venture Capital has invested in the company since 2005 with Amadeus Capital Partners, Oak Investment Partners and Tudor Investment Corporation amongst others.
