Daniela Proske, PhD joined BASF Venture Capital Inc. in June 2010. She started within BASF’s intermediates division in October 2006 where she was responsible for business development of specialty chemicals.

Before joining BASF SE, Daniela was the Financial Director of a Life science company serving the pharmaceutical industry with new molecular tools to accelerate drug discovery and target validation.

She received her PhD in biochemistry from the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich in 2001 and complemented her studies with a diploma of finance at the St. Galler Business School, Switzerland in 2004.
